Aerial Hammock (Youth/Junior/Teen)
Aerial Hammock 1A / 1B – Beginning Level (Ages 7–14)
Welcome to the world of aerial movement! In this beginner-level class, students ages 7–14 will be introduced to the foundations of aerial hammock in a fun and supportive environment. With guidance from our certified VaihAyasa-based instructors, students will explore fundamental skills such as basic spins, inversions, hangs, climbs, and supported poses, all while building body awareness, coordination, and confidence.
These classes incorporate elements of yoga, fitness, and circus-style movement, helping participants safely develop core strength, flexibility, and balance. Aerial Hammock 1A is designed for true beginners, while 1B offers slight progression for those who have mastered initial skills and are ready to refine technique and try simple sequences.
Aerial Hammock 2A – Intermediate Level (10+ yrs)
For students with prior hammock experience and a strong foundation in basic techniques, this intermediate-level class introduces more challenging transitions, dynamic movements, and extended sequences. Students will continue to improve their strength, stamina, aerial awareness, and creative expression through structured drills and choreographed flows.
Enrollment in Hammock 2A requires instructor approval or completion of Level 1B. Proper technique, safe execution, and body control are emphasized as students progress to more advanced movement combinations.
Aerial Silks Add-On Class – Advanced (Invitation Only) 10+ yrs
For students who have demonstrated strength, consistency, and technical control in Hammock 2A, we offer an exclusive Aerial Silks Add-On Class by invitation only. This specialty class allows advanced students to explore vertical apparatus techniques such as climbs, wraps, drops, and silks-specific transitions, expanding their skill set beyond hammock work.
This class is perfect for students seeking additional challenge and artistry, and is available as an optional extension for committed aerialists looking to take their training to the next level.
Gymnastics, Ballet & Tap Combination Classes (Ages 2.5-8 yrs)
Mini Tumbling, Ballet & Tap Combo (Ages 2.5–4)
This playful introduction to movement helps our youngest students build body awareness, coordination, and rhythm. Through imaginative activities, basic tumbling, and age-appropriate ballet and tap exercises, children gain confidence and a love for dance in a nurturing and creative environment.
Gymnastics, Ballet & Tap Combo
Preschool/Kinder: Ages 3.5–5 OR
Youth: Ages 6–8
These classes follow the same well-rounded curriculum, tailored for different age groups. Students rotate through three engaging disciplines:

Gymnastics: Rolls, cartwheels, bridges, handstands, and beginner apparatus work

JLC (Jazz-Lyrical-Contemporary) Ages 9+ yrs
JLC Juniors – Jazz, Lyrical & Contemporary (Ages 9–12)
Dancers are introduced to expressive styles with a strong technical foundation in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary dance. Classes include instruction in leaps, turns, extensions, body alignment, and fluid transitions. Dancers will learn across-the-floor exercises and full dance combinations that focus on technique, performance quality, and musicality.
Students gain valuable experience in movement dynamics while building flexibility, strength, and stage presence.
JLC Teens – Jazz, Lyrical & Contemporary (Ages 12 & Up)
This class is designed for teen dancers looking to grow in artistry, technique, and confidence. Students develop skills in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary styles with focused work on turns, leaps, extensions, transitions, and stylistic movement.
Choreography focuses on developing technique, musicality, and style through age-appropriate combinations that challenge coordination, expression, and control, while preparing dancers for more advanced training and performance opportunities.
A.R.T. Circus (Aerial-Rhythmic-Tumbling Combo Class (Ages 5-9 years)
From Tumbling Tricks to Aerial Hammock Lifts!
Welcome to an exciting ongoing class that introduces kids to the magical world of performing and circus arts! Perfect for beginners, this combo class blends tumbling, aerial hammock, and rhythmic movement into one fun and engaging experience.
Students will build strength, flexibility, and coordination as they:
Learn beginner tumbling and acrobatic skills
Take flight with aerial hammock techniques
Explore rhythmic props like ribbons, hoops, ropes, balls, and clubs
With a focus on creativity, confidence, and safe skill-building, this class offers a thrilling introduction to multiple circus disciplines—all in a supportive and imaginative environment.

Recreational Gymnastics Program- Preschool, Kinder & Youth (Ages 3.5-12 yrs)
Welcome to our exciting recreational gymnastics program, where fun meets foundational skill-building! Designed for ages 3.5 to 12, our classes focus on developing essential tumbling skills like rolls, cartwheels, and walkovers, while also introducing key apparatus techniques using the beam, parallel bars, single bar, and vault.
Intermediate students will continue to build confidence and strength as they refine their basics and learn more advanced skills such as aerials, front handsprings, and back handsprings.
Our program emphasizes a positive, supportive atmosphere that helps students grow in agility, balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness.
🌟 New this year! Students will also get to explore exciting equipment like the climbing rope, full-sized rings, and our brand-new TumbleTrak—all in the newly built gymnastics loft located in Rimforest!

Note: Tumble Bugs (ages 12-36 months) is now a RimRec program (still taught by AAF instructors) and is called "Tumble Tots". Registration and information are available via the registration link below. This class begins 9/29/25 and will meet Monday mornings in the Rimforest Gym Loft.
Primary Ballet-Jazz Dance (Ages 6-9 yrs)
Designed for the child who wishes to focus exclusively on dance, this energetic fusion class blends the grace of ballet with the dynamic style of jazz to support both technical growth and artistic development.
Dancers will work on classical ballet technique, including alignment, posture, center work, turns, and barre exercises, while also exploring jazz elements such as isolations, kicks, leaps, and turns. Choreography emphasizes musicality, expression, and performance quality, helping dancers build confidence and stage presence.
This class goes beyond the basics, offering a well-rounded and engaging experience that nurtures a love of movement while preparing young dancers for more advanced training.
DanceSport Competitve Dance Team (Ages 10+ yrs)
Join our award-winning Competitive Dance Team, designed for experienced dancers ages 10 and up who are ready to take their training to the next level! This elite program focuses on excellence in all genres, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, musical theater, and more. Dancers will refine technique, build performance skills, and train as a team in preparation for regional and national competitions.
Our team has a proud legacy of numerous top judges' choice awards, including multiple Top 1st Place and Elite High Score, and Overall 1st placements at respected regional competitions. Known for strong technique, stage presence, and artistic expression, our dancers consistently stand out and represent the studio with professionalism and heart.
Participation requires a strong dance foundation, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork and growth. Students must be able to commit to the full competition season running February through July 2026, with mandatory team enrollment confirmed by October 1, 2025.
